My name is Christian Burlacu, and I am a student at Flower Mound High School in the Dallas area. From a young age, I have striven for academic excellence, while also passionately pursuing athletics. Although my wins as an athlete have fueled my desire to seek the next level, it is the losses that continue to be the most valuable lessons. I have learned hard work, passion, and perseverance on the court; those lessons have proved most powerful off the court, in the classroom. From the dedicated teachers, coaches, and teammates inspiring me, I have been fortunate to learn the value of blending academics and athletics. With The Athlete Scholar, I hope to pass these priceless lessons on, helping kids excel academically and athletically. I plan to do this by building a community of passionate ambassadors who will dedicate their time to supporting young scholars in their studies and athletic pursuits.
